Hey Hermana!

Synopsis

Amid rapes, wars and murders, Helen and Clytemnestra have reached our reality through the myths and fictions they have been part of. Hey, Hermana! is a condensation and adaptation of the myths of these characters demonised by Western culture: the whores of the West. This contemporary adaptation puts the myths in dialogue with cases such as the “wolf pack” gang rapes or the feminist movement. As founding myths of our culture, it asks questions about violence, care, beauty, sexual assault and sisterhood. If fictions and myths have been reproduced by men throughout history, how has this shaped the structure of those fictions and tales? How have we received them? How have they affected us?
