Synopsis
Joana and Alba are two women in love, living in a Barcelona that pushes them to the limit. Across five key scenes of their relationship, the couple looks at itself, questions itself and comes apart through a process that tests not only their bond but also the way love is told today.
Escenes d’una separació is a portrait of the fragility of adult love in an individualistic, meritocratic system, but it is also simply a love story between two people who know that separating doesn’t always mean you stop loving. Perhaps it can even become a way of loving each other better.
