Tres porques
Three Sows

Synopsis
This is the story of three sows, three friends, three workers. It is the perverse drift of a children’s tale, an acid look at the disconnect between the joy of mindless consumption and the brutality of production processes.
Once upon a time there were three workers lost in a clearing… Tres porques is an impossible dialogue between three sows and the slaughterhouse that is to end their lives. A flickering mirror between the reality of the meat industry (the narrating voice of a female worker) and the proto-capitalist morality of the children’s tale (the meritocratic story of The Three Little Pigs). Because, when you think about it, if you kill a dog the world ends; but if you kill twenty-three million pigs, you grow the country’s economy.
