Terrible Elephant

Elefant terrible — El Eje

Synopsis

Elefant terrible is a play for young audiences about virtual reality and the longing to build fictions. We witness Adam’s journey through a virtual-reality game. The game he has created works with his data and his memories, promising a unique, personalised experience tailored to the user’s interests. A cathartic journey in which he will discover what he deeply desires. Travelling through several levels, Adam uncovers all the parts of himself he has abandoned, killed or deleted. All the reality he wants to escape appears to him inside the game. Because it is impossible to escape real life. Just as it is impossible to escape our past or our childhood. Real life or virtual life?

*The show comes with an installation of virtual-reality headsets where the audience can watch a VR short film that works as a prologue to the play.
